Why this is different
In addition to providing every available traditional resource and opportunity, we have created a powerful tool to help connect people directly. Want to help? Consider the adopt-A-Family approach. Browse the Fire Stories and find a family in need. Look through the Classifieds, and see if you can find a survivor with a need that you can fill. Do you have something specific that you can offer? Post an add in the Classifieds.
There will be many ways to help victims. We are in the very early stages of the process and it will be constantly evolving. Please check back regularly. Please contact us if you have questions, or want to get involved. Thank you!
Donate money to families in need.
We have several options that will allow you to donate to individual, families and entire communities. To begin with, you can make a tax deductible donation to the MDCA Tea Fire Victims Fund. You can make donations to help individual victims or the whole community. Please DONATE to the MDCA Tea Fire Victims Fund.
Help with temporary housing.
If you have any space available for victims of the Tea Fire, please post them by using our Classifieds.
Donate goods.
If you have clothes, furniture, vehicles, etc. please post them in the Classifieds.
Volunteer!
